Sometimes you may require the ability to download a copy of a file you have uploaded to SPAstandard. You also may need to delete a file from SPAstandard because incorrect data has been uploaded, or because you no longer wish for that data to be stored in the SPAplatform system.
The following instructions will show you both how to download a file from SPAstandard and how to delete a file form SPAstandard.
PLEASE NOTE- Once a file has been deleted from SPAstandard, we will no longer have the ability to recover this data for you. Therefore, when deleting files, we ALWAYS recommended that you download a copy first (just in case you delete the wrong file).
Navigate to the Manage Imports Page
As an Administrator, navigate to Import, Manage Imports.
Downloading a file off SPAstandard
Look for the file you wish to download, either by;
1. Seraching for it using a file name in the serach bar,
2. Filtering your data by the data type or by who uplaoded the file.
3. Or simply by looking through the list of files.
Next to each file you wish to download, click the 'download' button. The file will then be download to your computer. Check to see where it has been downloaded on your computer. You may like to open it up to check the file is what you were looking for and was correctly download.
Deleting a file off SPAstandard
Once you have downloaded a copy of the file you wish to delete, then you are ready to remove the file.
Click the 'advanced' button, and you will find that the 'download' button has now changed to a 'delete' button.
Double check you are about to delete the correct file, once you are certain, you may now click the 'delete' button. The data will now be removed from your SPAplatform account.
