Understanding the SPAreporter Workflow

In this section we are going to develop an understanding of the SPAreporter Workflow. Each time you begin a new report run your school will follow the work flow below. The first 4 phases are handled by the report administrator.  Phases 5 & 6 are completed by the teachers and leadership of the school. Finally phases 7 & 8 are again handled by the report administrator.

Phase 1 is completed by the report administrator. To complete this phase two excel documents need to be filled in and uploaded to the software. This process will need to be done at least once a year, and possibly each report run depending on changes between semesters/terms.

Phase 2 is completed by the report administrator. This phase is done manually inside the software. Each semester/year, if there are no changes to the Subjects and the Curriculum assigned to them, this phase does not need to be repeated.

Phase 3 is completed by the report administrator. This phase is done manually inside the software. Each semester/year, if there are no changes to the report formats, the administrator is able to reuse the report templates.

Phase 4 is completed by the report administrator. This phase will need to be completed each report run.

Phase 5 & 6 are completed by the teaching staff and administrators of the school.

Phase 7 & 8 is managed by the report administrator.

The SPAreporter mannual is structured into chapters that relate to this workflow. In each of these chapters will we explain these phases in more detail and instruct you in how to build your own school report run.
