In this section we are going to learn how to assign your Class/Cohorts to a section in a report. Reports have different sections to them (Partial Page, Full Page etc) this is so you can have different layout's and options depending on the classes/cohorts/subjects. So that teachers don't all have to report on the same things for their class/subject.
This means that when we design a section of a report we can either design one for each class/cohort/subject, or you can assign multiple different classes/cohorts to a section of a report so they will all get the same format to report on. This DOES NOT mean that each class gets combined together, they will still get to put in their own comments, work habits, Levels etc. it's just that the look/format of each class will be the same.
If you do not complete this step, when your teachers go to write their reports, they will see a list of studennts on their dashboard, but when they click on that student, no sections/pages will appear for that student to have content written on them.
Using the cohort navigator/ search bar on the left, navigate and select the cohort/class you would like to assign to this section of the report
In this example i have created a section of a report for the English classes in my school. I have the selected two english classes to assign to this section of the report. This means that when the teacher from those classes comes to write their report they will get this specific report section.
