Importing Photos

In this section we are going to learn how to bulk import photos of your students

IMPORTANT NOTE: Photos must be in JPG format and be under 2mb in file size each.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All file names must be the same ID number of the child that you have imported into SPA.

Attention! IMPORTANT INFORMATION

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE IN JPG format

ALL FILE NAMES MUST MATCH THE ID NUMBER OF THE CHILDREN IN YOUR ACCOUNT.

Step 1: First make sure you have created all the students in your account. Either manually or from importing the students.

In order to attach photos to a student you will first need to have created the students in your account.

Step 2: You are now ready to upload and assign photos to a child

You are now ready to upload and assign photos to a child. To do this you will create a folder with all of your student’s photos in it with their corresponding student ID number. You will then zip these photos up into one file and upload this file.

2b: Make sure all the ID numbers are correct and MATCH the ID numbers of the students in your account.

Step 3: You now need to zip up the photos into a single ZIP file.

Select all photos in the folder by highlighting all your files or pressing Command-A on your keyboard to select all the photos.

Right click on any one of the highlighted files and choose “Compress # Items”

If done correctly you should now have a file called Archive.zip in the folder along with all your photos.

Select all photos in the folder by highlighting all your files or pressing Control-A on your keyboard to select all the photos.

  1. Right-click any of the highlighted files
  2. Point to Send to, and then click Compressed (zipped) folder
  3. A new compressed folder is created in the same location as the photos
  4. To rename it, right-click the folder, click Rename, and then type the new name.

If done correctly you should now have a file called Archive.zip in the folder along with all your photos

Step 4: Once you have created your ZIP file login to your account and navigate to maintain then select upload student images

Step 6: Navigate to your zip file on your computer
