Adding Student Alerts

In this section we are going to learn how to add Alerts to an individual student.

Step 1: Search for a student and bring up their overview page.

If you do not know how to search for a student and bring up their details please refer to the "searching for and view a students results" section found in this manual or if you are viewing this manual online click here.

Once you have brought up a student you will see their overview page with any notes and alerts that have been entered

In this example we have brought up a student who does not yet have any notes or alerts added to them.

To add a student alert, click on the "Add New Alert" Button

You will then be taken to the following screen where you can add a basic Alert for a student.

Step 3: Select the Alert Type

Select the Alert type you would like to add from the drop down list.

Step 4: Add A Subject

Type the alert subject into the subject field

Step 5: Add the details of the Alert into the notes box provided

Step 6: Save the Note

Once the Alert has been saved you will be promoted with a "note saved" dialog message. Click the Ok Button

Exit the Alert

To exit the Alert and return to the Student Overview page. Click the "Back" Button.
