Student Name Issues

In this article we are going to learn how to fix issues with students names in SPA. Sometimes school find that after uploading a file some students names get scrambled, First or Surnames get repeated. Luckily this is an easy issue to fix. Below we will learn how.

Step 1: Login to your SPA Account

  1. Type in your username
  2. Type your Password
  3. Click Login

Step 2: Navigate to "Upload your Data" in the Admin Menu

  1. Open the Administration Menu
  2. Click "Upload Your Data"

Step 3: Find your Student ID file and regenerate it.

  1. Scroll through your files in SPA and find the Student ID file in your account. (note your file may be named differently, Student files usually end with "Student Data Only" Listed beside them.
  2. Click the Regenerate button next to the file ( the circular arrow)

Step 4: Confirm the confirmation box and re check your students names.

If the file has been read back in correctly you should now check your students names and everything should be back in order.
