Fix Safari Not Uploading Files

In this section we are going to learn how to fix a known bug with Safari on OSX not uploading Files correctly.

A recent update to Safari has stopped some users from being able to upload files in SPA. Users have reported that wen they click on a file to upload it, nothing happens or the loading bar never finishes uploading the file. This is due to a security update to safari that Apple has recently released that is blocking access to system files. Please follow the instructions below on how to fix this issue.

Step 1: Open Safari, Click on Safari then click Preferences.

Step 3: Make sure Allow Plug-ins is ticked and then select "Manage Website Settings..."

Step 4: Click on Silverlight from the left hand menu.

Step 5: Select the dropdown list next to the SPA website on the right and select "Allow Always" & "Run in Unsafe Mode"

You will now be able to upload files into SPA.
